In August 2016, the Office of Emergency Preparedness changed AED online management systems to LifeREADY through Cintas. The online management will allow AED Coordinators to check each AED monthly, report any uses, add / remove information on consumables (pads, batteries), order replacement consumables, and view training videos / modules. This system not only keeps all AEDs in compliance with UGA’s AED Policy, but it also provides the medical direction (prescription) for the AED.
